Pre-AP Chemistry

Your science fair spiral and research plan are due next week either Tuesday (A) or Wednesday (B)

Each student must fill out a research plan form and complete the typed attachment. Information about the form can be found here. If you scroll down at this site, you will need to fill out 1, 1A and 1B. I gave you hard copies of this form, but if you have lost it you can get another copy (or fill them out) here.

Also in your spiral you will need to have two more pages of research (from the internet or library) and a written procedure, materials list and time outline for your project.

The handouts for the instructions or bibliographies can be found over to the left on the link that says "Power Point and Class Handout link".

EVERYONE!!! Part 2

Sometimes the links on the left to my power points and documents need more than one click. Try it a couple times. If it still doesn't work, or your frustrated, go to my webpage on the school website and try from there.

EVERYONE!!!

I have started uploading my class power points. So if you have missed class, or simply want to see the power point again, they will be listed on the left.

Regular Chemistry

We will be starting to memorize the polyatomic ion list part at a time. If you have lost your list. There is a copy in the links on the left of this web page.

AP Chemistry

The next chapter we will be covering is electrochemistry. We did very little of this last year. Below is a preview of the notes we will be taking. Watching this may make understanding class easier for you.

Electrochem Podcast part 1

Pre-AP Chemistry

We are working on naming and writing formulas for ionic compounds. For an extra practice you can visit this worksheet with answers.

For quick re-explanation, you can visit here .

While your here you can enjoy a lovely picture of salt crystals. Regular formula units give it a cubic formation.
