AP Chemistry

The chapter we are currently studying is over kinetics (chapter 12). This link will take you to a podcast over this chapter. This teacher does his lectures like mine and there are 3 separate videos on this page. If it doesn't open up on this page, click the links on his page to google video.

You can also visit here to practice some multiple choice questions on our AP chapter test.

Be sure that you complete Ionic Worksheet I for homework. Next time in class you have a polyatomic ion quiz over the second column names only. Please study.

Also remember we will have quiz over naming and writing formulas of ionic compounds in class next time. If you want more practice you can down load this practice worksheet that has an included answer key.

Canned Food Drive

Next week is the Student Council Canned Food Drive, for my class students may bring up to 10 cans of food for up to 10 bonus points.

The last day to turn in food is Monday, November 24th.

Pre-AP Chemistry

Be sure that you wear "real shoes" to class tomorrow as will be doing a lab. If you can remember, please bring several VERY shiny pennies for our experiment.

For homework you will have, Balancing Worksheet I.

AP Chemistry

We will be having our next test on Wednesday over Thermodynamics. For extra practice you can visit Adrian Dingle's Chemistry Pages and click the quizes under "Topic 9".

Also your thermodynamic and thermochemistry e-homework will be due on Wednesday!
